| Willow Wisp Acres Visits WHR June 17, 2009 Willow Wisp Acres Summer Campers visited WHR. The campers meet Mustangs, learned the history of wild horses in America, and watched a pole training demonstration. It was wonderful to meet these wonderful young people. Please visit again! Mother and Son Left Abandoned This mare and her 16 month old son, a stallion, were abandoned by their owner at a boarding stable in Newberry, FL who left the horses to fend for themselves. Fortunately, Bart, a very kind man, noticed the two Mustangs becoming emaciated and began feeding them. He contacted WHR and Diane drove north to bring them to our rescue. Thank you Bart for your compassion and kindness for these beautiful horses. Both Mother and Son are continuing to gain weight and will be receiving vaccinations, dewormings, and Coggins. Rowdy will be gelded. Both will be available for adoption. SEDONA 9 year old Mustang Mare   ROWDY 16 month old Stallion   |

Hope  Hope (no socks) is one of three filly's confiscated by the Tampa Bay ASPCA due to neglect and starvation. They were returned to the BLM and are being cared for by our rescue. Thank you to all the wonderful people who helped give these beautiful horses a better life!
