WHR RESCUES:

Mother and Son Left Abandoned

This mare and her 16 month old son, a stallion, were abandoned by their owner at a boarding stable in Newberry, FL  who left the horses to fend for themselves. Fortunately, Bart,
a very kind man, noticed the two Mustangs becoming emaciated and began feeding them. He contacted WHR and Diane drove north to bring them to our rescue.

Thank you Bart for your compassion and kindness for these beautiful horses. Both Mother and Son are continuing to gain weight and will be receiving vaccinations, dewormings, and Coggins.  Rowdy will be gelded.  Both will be available for adoption.
