Meet Our Newest Rescue Resident!
This
sweet little fellow arrived at our rescue last month.
He is being
trained to take part in our community outreach program. Originally, we
had two little minni rescues, Geri and Timi, but they proved just a wee
bit too feisty. They have both been adopted by Emily.
Stop by on WHRC's Open Barn Day (Feb. 6th) and say hello to this
friendly, furry, little boy.

Meet The
Minni's!
Please
welcome Geronimo and Timucua,
WHR's newest residents. These little
boys were lucky. A breeder in south Florida
was selling her stock
of 40 Minni's to a lion safari park as meat.
Ellen,
of West Palm Beach, hearing the horses
fate, purchased all the horses instead, and
began seeking new homes for them.
Diane
took in these two little guys, and was able to assist in
finding new homes for others.
Thank you Ellen, it was quite an feat to
save, transport,
feed, geld, and find homes for 40 stallions, mares and
foals. You
did a great job and have a wonderful heart!
Timucua
and Geronimo are currently in training to become part of WHR's
Community Outreach Program. Stop by and say hello to the new
little
fellas if your in the area.
