2009 Old Time
Christmas Trail Ride! Sunday, December 6th (9am to 3pm) $25 pre-registration $30 day of the ride In the past, people would saddled up horses, hitch up wagons, or go walking to visit neighbors for the Christmas season.  Join us on a special 8 mile trail ride, visiting several local homes and barns along Hammock Road in Mims. All neighbor stops will offer seasonal treatssuch as apple cider, eggnog, ginerbread cookies and more.  The ride is open
to horses, wagons, bicycles (dirt road) and
walkers. Come meet your neighbors for an old time Christmas! |
| Mims Christmas Parade Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009  WHR will be in the Mims Christmas parade! If you would like to help decorate the float, join us at the rescue center on Friday, December 4th. Adoption DayDate: Sept 26th Time: 9-4pm Location: Wild Horse Rescue Center 4970 International Avenue Mims, Florida 32754 WHR will be open to the public on September 26th for the annual "National Wild Horse and Burro Adoption Day". We will be having facility tours, yard sale and BBQ. We invite you to visit our facilities, meet the Mustangs, learn about these wonderful horses and their history. See you there! |
