Wild Horse Rescue Center is dedicated to the preservation of the spirit of the west by saving America's wild heritage, the Mustang. At the center, Mustangs rescued from abuse or neglect are rehabilitated and adopted out to qualifying homes.

Continuing either your Animal Communication skills, practicing any modality you would like, massage, biofeedback, reiki or other energy healing, or just hear about the the mustang from a short intro by owner Diane Delano. As the majority of the horses are rescues, our goal in this AC class will be to deliver information to the caretakers from each of the horses that we individually work with.

C.A.T. is an educational program designed for those who are interested in learning about animal-related topics, nature, and natural therapies and techniques. All modalities offered may be applied to ALL animals, domestic as well as wildlife. The concept for Centers for Animal Therapies/C.A.T., LLC., originates from a vision by owner Jo Maldonado.

WHRC is participating in the "11th Annual Orlando Festival"

"Orange Audubon Society will lead guided bird watching excursions. Professional photographers will  conduct nature photo shoots. The Florida Native Plant Society will lead native plant identification hikes.  The Florida Trail Association will provide wilderness hikes.  For those who like to sit and ride, hay rides and guided bus tours will travel along the wetland berms, giving riders a chance to experience first hand, Florida’s wild wetlands.

In addition to the numerous guided tours, there will be bird banding and mist-netting demonstrations, tree giveaways, door prizes, and live folk music.  Featured in the various wildlife shows, many different live animals will be present such as alligators, Florida panthers, snakes, birds and many others.  Food will be also be available for purchase.

There will be many interactive children’s activities (like the Out-On-A-Limb kid’s tree climbing, bounce house, and games), so bring the whole family and invite your friends and neighbors to this fun, free, educational festival.  Bring your cameras, off-road bikes or sturdy hiking shoes, and prepare for an adventure in the wilderness.  Please leave your pets at home; there are wild animals.  Free admission and free door prizes!
